1986
15 . On July 21, 1986 the House granted leave to Shri. E.K. Nayanar, Leader of Opposition to move the following motion:
"കേന്ദ്ര ഗവണ്‍മെന്റ് അഭിമതരായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച കുവൈറ്റികള്‍ക്ക് സംസ്ഥാനത്തുടനീളം രാജ്യദ്രോഹ പ്രവര്‍ത്തങ്ങള്‍ നടത്താന്‍ ഒത്താശ ചെയ്തു കൊടുത്ത മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള മന്ത്രിമാരും 'പഞ്ചാബ് മോഡല്‍' പ്രസംഗം ചെയ്തതിന് രാജ്യദ്രോഹത്തിന്റെ പേരില്‍ മന്ത്രിസഭയില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒഴിവാക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ശ്രീ. ആര്‍. ബാലകൃഷ്ണപിള്ളയും അധികാരത്തില്‍ തുടരുന്നതിനാലും:
പ്രീഡിഗ്രിബോര്‍ഡ് രൂപീകരണ തീരുമാനത്തിലൂടെ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസമേഖലയെ സ്വകാര്യ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ കച്ചവടക്കാര്‍ക്ക് അടിയറ വയ്ക്കാന്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സ്വീകരിച്ച നടപടിക്കെതിരെ കോളേജ് അദ്ധ്യാപകരും അദ്ധ്യാപകേതര ജീവനക്കാരും യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ജീവനക്കാരും വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളും നടത്തിയ സമരത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തവര്‍ക്കെതിരായി പ്രതികാര നടപടികള്‍ തുടരുകയും സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നല്‍കിയ ഉറപ്പ് ലംഘിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതിനാലും;
അഴിമതി വ്യാപകമാക്കുകയും ക്രമസമാധാന നില തകര്‍ക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത മന്ത്രിസഭ അധികാരത്തില്‍ തുടരുന്നത് സംസ്ഥാന ജനതയ്ക്ക് ആപത്ക്കരമായതിനാലും;
മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. കെ. കരുണാകരന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള മന്ത്രിസഭയില്‍ ഈ സഭ അവിശ്വാസം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു."
The motion was discussed on 30th and 31st July 1986. when it was put to vote 59 Members voted for the motion and 80 members against it. The motion was declared as lost.
1985
14 . The House granted leave to Shri. M.V. Raghavan on 8th April 1985 to move the following motion:-
'' ശ്രീ. കെ. കരുണാകരന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള മന്ത്രിസഭയില്‍ ഈ സഭ അവിശ്വാസം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു''
Discussion on the motion was held on 8th and 9th April 1985. When it was put to vote, 64 Members voted for the motion and 74 Members voted against it. The motion was declared as lost.
1983
13 . On 19th December 1983 the House granted Leave to Shri. Baby John to move the following motion:-
"This House expresses it’s want of Confidence in the Council of Ministers headed by Shri. K. Karunakaran".
The motion was discussed on 19th and 20th December 1983. When the motion was put to vote and 63 Members voted for the motion and 72 members voted against. The motion was declared as lost.
